On virtue
Measure
Virtue is a mean state between two vices, one of excess and one of defect.
Finding the right measure takes judgment.
Courage: neither cowardice nor recklessness. Generosity: neither stinginess nor wastefulness. Truthfulness: neither boasting nor false modesty.
Not always halfway—what is right for the situation.
